USCCG EXPANDS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TEAM

Tampa -- James D.Cusack has joined USC Consulting Group as business development executive responsible for the firm’s northern California and Oregon regions, based in San Francisco. He adds extensive experience in comprehensive financial and operations management in the banking, investment and healthcare fields to USCCG’s team.

Most recently, Mr. Cusack was managing director with Catalina Consulting, where he provided advisory services to life sciences companies. Earlier, he was a senior associate with Bay City Capital LLC, San Francisco, a life science merchant bank that provides strategic advisory, M&A and venture capital investing to select healthcare clients. He has also held positions as an associate in equity research with Dain Rauscher Wessels in New York, where he focused on the pharmaceutical and healthcare services industries, and as manager of business development with Abbott Laboratories in Chicago.

“We are fortunate to be able to build our business development team with talented individuals like Jim Cusack,” commented George Coffey, USCCG senior vice president for business development. “We are particularly looking forward to building on his experience in the life sciences arena.”

Mr. Cusack holds a BA in economics from Dickinson College and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He is also a member of the Licensing Executives Society.
