USC Consulting Group unveils new look as part of growth strategy

Firm also launches new marketing campaign to help it attract prospective client

Chicago, October 25, 2000-USC Consulting Group, LLC today announced it is launching a new marketing campaign to help it attract new clients seeking to improve their operating effectiveness. At the heart of the campaign is a new, more contemporary logo and look the firm hopes will draw favorable attention to it.

“Our last logo change, which served us well, was over twenty years ago.” said the company’s CEO, Ronald K. Walker “But times change and we are no longer the same company we were back then. Today, our focus is broader, our knowledge base deeper and we're able to draw upon experience accumulated over three decades to deliver significant value to a broad base of clients. And our growth prospects have never been brighter. We want to send a message to the marketplace that new and exciting things are happening at USC.”

The new logo is incorporates a unique symbol designed to differentiate the company from its bigger competitors and to characterize its work product. Its broad blue stripe signifies the solid results the company takes so much pride in delivering to its clients in the course of a project, while the ascending red stripe represents a legacy of continuous improvement typically left behind at the end of an engagement.

USC’s new positioning line: “First we make it work. Then we make it last.™” expresses these same concepts in words.

The company’s new identity will make its debut in trade advertising and direct mail campaigns starting in June and shortly thereafter on its new web site which is currently under development. This represents quite a departure from the days not too long ago when it relied solely on word of mouth to fuel its new business activities.
