FORMER CHASE EXECUTIVE JOINS USC CONSULTING GROUP

Stephen T. Iovino to direct business development efforts in Northeast

New York, NY -- Stephen T. Iovino, a 30-year veteran and former senior vice president of the Chase Manhattan Bank, has joined USC Consulting Group as the firm’s northeastern regional nanager. In this capacity, Mr. Iovino will be responsible for developing close working relationships with Fortune 1000 companies that want to strengthen their operating and financial performance through the use of innovative process improvement methodologies.

“Steve Iovino brings some special talents and expertise important to USCCG’s growth plans,” according to George Coffey, senior vice president/business development. “His financial services background, IT experience and process orientation give him strong credentials for expanding our presence in the non-manufacturing and service sectors.”

Mr. Iovino began his career with Chase Manhattan Bank in 1968 in technology management and development. In 1988 he was named president and CEO of the bank’s education finance arm, which he established as a leader in the student loan industry. He was then elevated to senior vice president and worldwide executive for operations and systems over most of Chase’s consumer product companies, including auto finance, student loans, mortgages, international credit card and personal financial services.

In 1992 he was named senior vice president and business executive for Global Trust Services. In 1996, Mr. Iovino became president and CEO of Education First, LLC, a joint venture between JPMorganChase Bank and the Student Loan Marketing Association (Sallie Mae). For the past several years, he has worked as a management consultant with such companies as the Nature Publishing Group, based in Great River, NY, and Brown & Company, a discount brokerage firm located in Boston.

Mr. Iovino holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from Hostra University and has attended the Harvard Management School of Business. He resides on Long Island, NY, with his wife and family.
